Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und die Qualität stimmt auch. Angenehmes Ambiente und obwohl es voll ausgebucht war nicht laut. Kann man wirklich nur empfehlen.
Wir haben sehr gemütlich und gut versorgt draußen gesessen und lecker gespeist. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und schnell. Für die vielen Raucher rundrum kann ja keiner was...
I often go there and was disappointed that once we had ordered a drink, which it didn't even get placed at the bar, we couldn't change it. It was literally up to the waiter's mood and not that he couldn't do it. Otherwise, it was rather holiday season busy, but food was amazing as always. And it was rather smokey even in the non-smoking part, but happily that is now changed.
Wir hanen zu lange für alles gewartet. Lokal war voll, aber es dauerte 30 min. bis wir die Bestellung gegen könnten und noch weitere 30 min. bis unsere Getränke ankammen. Essen wie immer ganz lecker, Backhendl ist fast am besten in Wien.
Cafe Hummel is a local gem with Viennese charm. I have been there times and again, and was now positively surprised to see they have entirely switched to non-smoking indoors, which is great for winter! The waiters also come with Viennese charm, so think to the point but not unfriendly and really polite. The food is really good. The Sulmtaler Backhendl is always amazing, though this time was somewhat on the bland, unseasoned side. Their goulash is to die for, the meat literally gives in to the fork and the gravy is simply perfect! Sitting outside is the essence of Viennese "Gemütlichkeit". Always on my list when I want delicious Austrian food.
Immer wieder gerne. Essen lecker. Atmosphere top! Und die Bedienung auch immer freundlich! Nur Kaiserschmarren war etwa wie Eierspeise aber alle andere Gerichte wirklich super!
