It was my second time at this restaurant. Food is well prepared, quality ingredients, good presentation, professional service. However: you pay for the experience of eating "in the oldest restaurant in the world" - the food itself is nothing spectacular.. I certainly recommend eating there, but with clear expectations. A hint to the owners: it would be nice to add the weight of meat/poutry/seafood in dishes. Whereas I was satisfied with my portion, one member of my party was rather disappointed with the amount of octopus served.

Absolutely amazing! We got the surprise 4 course meal and couldn't be happier. Everything tasted delicious and we got to try some dishes we would not normally try. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Great vibe and good service, but the food is really unsatisfactory. The truffle spaghetti was flavourless and lacked seasoning. The boiled beef was okay at best. Finally the dessert, the crème brulé, was sour - it's a simple dish, not sure how this one got messed up so bad! This made the whole experience not worth the money at all

Wir hatten das Überraschungsmenü, auf Anfrage einmal laktosefrei. Hat super geklappt und auch super geschmeckt. Auch vom Ambiente her ist St. Peter immer einen Besuch wert

Wir waren zum Abendessen hier und waren mehr als begeistert. Der Kellner war erstklassig und wir haben nicht lange auf unser Essen warten müssen. Ich habe noch nie so ein leckeres Pesto gegessen.

Die Weinkarte bietet eine ungewöhnlich interessante und vielfältige Auswahl. Es wird einen zweiten Besuch geben.

Das Essen war lecker. Das Ambiente mit der Einrichtung etwas speziell. Leider war es etwas laut.

Wir wollten einen entspannten Abend mit einem schönen Abendessen genießen. Leider verlief der Abend völlig anders. Sehr laute Musik mit einer Dame die auf dem Tisch Saxophon spielte, man konnte sich nicht mehr unterhalten . Warum wurde uns dieses „Musikerlebnis“ welches jeden Donnrstag stattfindet nicht vorher mitgeteilt! Als die „Musik“ losging ( nicht schön aber laut) waren wir gerade beim Essen. Der Platzanweiser war sehr arrogant. Der Ober sehr freundlich. Total überzogene Preise

This was an experience and that is partly what you are paying to have. The food was excellent. I decided to go all in with the 4-course surprise menu. It did not disappoint. My husband had a black angus steak which loved. Dining in a 1,200 year old restaurant is quite an experience. The wait staff is top notch and will ensure you have nothing but positives to say.

Nicolai was an amazing server. We loved our entire dining experience.

Ein Tisch an Rande des Geschehens, 1 Person mit dem Rücken zum Lokal, um uns herum fast nur leere Tische. Diesen Tisch würde ich als letztes vergeben! Es war ein herrlicher Frühlingstag, dennoch war es im Innenhof recht kühl, so dass fast jeder seine Jacke oder eine Decke in Anspruch nahm. Zwar wurde uns ein Platz in einem anderen Teil des Restaurants angeboten, aber da hätten wir ganz alleine gesessen... Warum man die überall hängenden Heizstrahler nicht aktiviert hat, ist mir ein Rätsel. Geschmacklich war der selbst zusammengestellte Vorspeisensalat mit 4(!) Komponenten gut, jedoch preislich einen deut zu hoch. Der Hauptgang war geschmacklich sehr gut. Auf Grund der Raumtemperatur haben wir dann auf das Dessert verzichtet, jedoch als Entschädigung immerhin einen Digestiv erhalten. Alles in Allem werden wir wieder kommen, da jeder eine zweite Chance verdient hat.

Alles prefekt. Es war aber ein bisschen kalt - man konnte die Heizung einschalten...

St. Peters restaurant has created something special! The atrium is incredible. The ambiente is everytime different due to decorations, arrangement and music accompaniment. The main location is traditional and historical. The menu and the quality of food is excellent. The wine list is really good and contents many high class wineries. The price level must be considered as ++. It will come back for sure!

Ambiente und Ausstattung TOP. Sehr schön angerichtete Teller. Edle Weinkarte, für jeden etwas dabei. Besonders zu empfehlen: die Trüffelgerichte. Das Küchenpersonal ist erstklassig. Angewärmte Teller je nach Gericht genau richtig. Wir kommen zeitnah wieder.

Restaurant has a nice ambiance but questionable billing practices. At the beginning of the meal, the waiter gave us bread and salted caramel butter and told us it was “complimentary”. We ended up getting charged 6euros per person for the bread and butter that we didn’t want. They also tried to give us tap water, which we initially said no to because we assumed there was going to be a charge. Then they came back and asked again, even though we said no already. We ended up taking the water as they seemed to be insisting, and ended up getting charged 7 euros for tap water.

Die Salzburger Nockerl waren ausgezeichnet. Gebacken aus dem Eiweiß von 7 Eiern. Eine Portion für uns 2 hat vollkommen gereicht. Service war sehr freundlich.

Lovely dinner in a historic setting, with wonderful service. The waiter was very kind and friendly to our child and even gave us a quick tour at the end of our meal.
