Nice atmosphere, great service, food was pretty good. Nothing super special

We had an absolutely fantastic dinner at St. Peter Stiftskulinarium. First, our waiter, Duja, was exceptional. The meal - from the salad to the risotto my wife ordered to my veal were excellent. The desert, Salzburger Nockerl, was incredible. We had a great dinner, and highly recommend this restaurant.

The food was phenomenal—each course beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. A special thank you to our waiter who made the evening truly memorable. He was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing. His recommendations were perfect, and his warmth added a personal touch that made us feel truly welcome. We had a very special family Christmas dinner (Australian family of four, 12 and 15 year old daughters). We all loved the environment and ambience, super hard to beat and felt very special! Service was fabulous too - we had a lovely attentive waiter who engaged the girls too. Food was a bit hit and miss for us - the girls are adventurous eaters usually but it was a bit too far for them (oysters, beef tartare (couln't take the raw egg!), truffled parsley root foam soup, duet of wild prawns - it was very reduced and so flavour very pungent). The ate the main of roast veal with pistachio crust with vegies. My hubby and I enjoyed it, but overall prob not worth the money we paid for the set menu (circa 130EUROS pp). The wine pairing was absolutely awesome though (try the gruner veltliner!) :)

Great food the Tafelspitze is served hot and they bring out a special table to serve it. Could have used more wine in a 10 Euro serving.

Essen war sehr gut, Service sehr freundlich, leider mussten wir auf die Vorspeise lange warten (20 min), dafür kam der Hauptgang dann schon bevor wir mit der Vorspeise fertig waren - schlechtes Timing 😕

Bestes Essen von feinster Qualität, super Service. Der ältere, sehr erfahrene Kellner, der auch ungewöhnlich nett zu den zwei Kindern war, hat das Geburtstagsessen zu einer einmaligen Feier für uns sechs Personen gemacht.

Wir hatten einen tollen Abend mit Menü und der passenden Weinbegleitung - sehr lecker und toll ausgewählte Weine - der Service, besonders vom Sommelier, war liebevoll und hervorragend. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Great experience , service and food, just a bit pricey

Das Essen war sehr lecker, aber der Service eine Katastrophe. Teils unfreundlich, kein Gedeck gebracht, den Salat vergessen und auch nicht gebracht obwohl ich den Kellner aufmerksam gemacht habe.

Wieder einmal ein Mittagessen mit hervorragendem Essen und einem perfekten Service. Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch.im „Peter“.

Just a great experience. Food was excellent and service was great.

Rustikales, einfaches Ambiente. Für den Preis erwartet man aber mehr Exklusivität. Es macht den Eindruck, dass das Lokal sehr stark von Touristen besucht wird. Das Essen war gut, Preis/Leistung im Hinblick auf Geschmack, Portionsgröße und Ambiente aber nicht so toll.

Das Essen und trinken war ausgezeichnet. Atmosphäre sehr gut. Nicht so gut fanden wir die Verrechnung von normalem Leitungswasser. Für eine Flasche 4,29 Euro. Trotzdem ein netter Abend.

Das Ambiente und Essen war hervorragend, ein wenig unpassend fanden wir, dass die ersten leeren Teller bereits abgeräumt wurden, als unser Freund noch sein Essen genießen wollte.

A great experience dining at Europe's oldest restaurant. We arrived early for our reservation and was able to be seated right away. The server was familiar with the wine selection and able to recommend the right wines for the selected meals.

Die Kellner waren sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und haben uns einen tollen Aufenthalt bereitet. Wir hatten ein Kinderschnitzel (das auch für einen Erwachsenen gereicht hätte), das Bärlauchrisotto mit Spargel und einen Zwiebelrostbraten. Das Essen war wirklich extrem lecker und sowohl von der Präsentation, als auch vom Geschmack exzellent. Wir waren bereits vor zwei Jahren schon mal im Stiftskulinarium beim Essen und es hat uns damals schon sehr überzeugt. Dieses Mal konnten sie allerdings nochmal eins drauf legen. Vielen Dank und wir kommen auf jedenfall wieder!

Wir waren zur 60er Feier meiner Freundin, es war ein toller Abend mit gutem Essen und besonders aufmerksamen Personal inkl. Geburtstagsüberraschung. Einfach top!

Party of 4 - The food was great! The atmosphere was super. We were nearby an hour before our reservation- happily greeted and sat early. Our server was attentive and engaging. We were put off by the "up sell" (e.g.,€6 bread per person, €8 water for the table [we asked for tap an 2 glass bottles were brought without an indication we'd be charged], €6 for cranberry added to 2 of our dishes) If not for that, it would have gotten an excellent review.
