Overall, a very good experience. Food was very good. Dislikes - we were charged 12 euros for bread and we weren't even asked if we wanted it, it was just given to us. We also received a charge for another table. Was it intentional, don't know.

The dining experience at St. Peter's was excellent. Our waitress was exceptional, accommodating to 2nd languages and made great recommendations for wine to compliment dishes which had been ordered. When our food was ready, it was served at the perfect pace for a relaxing dinner. Dishes were beautifully presented and regional cuisine was explained so that it could be fully enjoyed by our party. Our dinner was one of the best I've enjoyed in recent years. Thank you to the entire staff for a wonderful evening.

Enjoyed being able to dine at the oldest restaurant in Europe, I always believe we should try as much as we can in our lives, I opted for a bowl of the homemade beef soup, it really was not much more broth I reluctantly added some bread & butter, for dessert I ordered the apple strudel, it was pleasant, it was served on a slate plate so I was unable to pour the vanilla sauce on top, didn’t enjoy having to dip it. The dessert however was good. There is no blush wine and all wines typically are dry in Austria however I opted for the server to bring me a glass of something I may enjoy, the wine was a Riesling made by St.Peters it had an intriguing taste which my palette enjoyed I spent just over 32€. Overall I would go again however my choices would change! Cheers!

The experience was good; the atmosphere is interesting, and the food is tasty. I expected something more special and unique. I found it good but not extraordinary, especially considering the price and that it's the oldest restaurant.

Überteuert, viel zu modern und dem erwarteten Ambiente( als älteste Gaststätte Europas deklariert)nicht entsprochen. Es fehlte Freundlichkeit und wurde unter einer Heizsonne platziert, was wie eine Straßenkneipe wirkte.

My girlfriend and I had a delicious dinner with a terrific waiter and very attentive host. Would recommend to anyone visiting Salzburg.

We arrived an hour before our reservation time and they were able to seat us early, which we appreciated. We loved the ambiance and the food was delicious! We noticed an additional charge for bread on our bill which surprised us because bread was brought to our table with nothing mentioned; we did not order it and we naturally assumed it was part of the meal.

Thank you to the staff at St. Peter! I had a wonderful birthday dinner. The service and food were amazing. I highly recommend making a reservation at this restaurant while in Salzburg

Great day visit in Salzburg with a nice dinner at Europe oldest restaurant

We had an amazing evening with two married couples who love great food and service and ambience. This evening had it all, with extraordinary service from Nicholaus. But it all comes at a steep price. For us, it was worth it.

The main course and the drinks were delicious, the dessert was not quite as good, but then again we had high standards after the main course

Es war ein traumhafter Abend! Es gab sogar eine Geburtstagsüberraschung - wir waren sehr gerührt und glücklich! Salzburger Nockerln waren ein Gedicht! Und die Kulisse und Location einfach nur atemberaubend!

The waiter had great and helpful recommendations. The food was fantastic.

Main course was tasteless. Nockerl was good. They tried to add 6 euro for bread and butter that wasn’t ordered, but removed it from the bill upon request. Seems like a tourist trap to be avoided. Overall impression that the restaurant thinks it’s much better than it really is, and priced too high for the experience.

We had a wonderful meal with exceptional service! Thank you.

The Mandatory bread is really not what I had expected.

Wunderschöner, schattiger Innenhof. Schon das Ambiente ist besonders. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und auf Zack. Der Brunch war wirklich gut mit außergewöhnlichen Highlights. Das ganze hat allerdings schon auch seinen Preis, ist aber definitiv jeden Cent wert.

Preis ist für die Qualität zu hoch. Eine Flasche Leitungswasser für 4,30 Euro eine Frechheit

The char was inedible. Way undercooked. The chicken piccata was just okay. Salad delicious though slightly over dressed. I do not mind paying for food. It’s a love of mine. But the meals did not live up to the value.
