Service was extremely lacking and disappointing. We had to track down our server every time we needed something and she never made eye contact with us. Not what you expect from such a reputable restaurant. The ambiance is lovely and the food was also nice.

Nette Begrüßung, sehr nettes Service, sehr gute Speisen, Sommelier hat perfekt dazu passenden Wein ausgesucht, schöne Räumlichkeiten

Fabulous restaurant, service was impeccable, food absolutely delicious, ambience delightful. We had lunch there one day, but decided to go back for dinner the following day. Just a great experience all round. Hope the people of Salzburg know what a gem they have!

That was definitely the last time I went there now! I gave its chance to this restaurant several times and now I will just select another restaurant! A Gedeck charge of 4 euros, a very rude service, not much on the plate (i am still searching for the goat cheese in my mixed green salad!), had to ask 4 times for the bill. I could go on... When you pretend to be the best restaurant in town, you just need to live up to this expectation. Clearly not the case.

As a single customer, I was constantly overlooked in favour of bigger tables around me. Big mistake. As a tour director, I am the one who draws the crowd in... or not! Very average service and not much on the plate. When you practice this kind of prices, you need to get your act together and be almost perfect!

Die online Buchung war unproblematisch und wir hatten eine sehr schöne Platzierung. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam. Einzig, die Küche hat ein wenig nachgelassen. Aber rundherum ein schöner Abend.

Sowohl die umsichtige Bedienung als auch das exzellente Essen haben dafür gesorgt, dass wir in diesem wunderschönen Ambiente einen feinen Abend gehabt haben.

Das essen hat zu lange gedauert (1h) und der Service war sehr langsam ansonsten war das Essen geschmacklich wie auch äußerlich super!

They were wonderful! From excellent service to amazing food all the guests in our party had a great celebration. They even had gluten free bread and wrote a special note on dessert!

. Food not warm enough which is shocking considering that this is a fine dining restaurant . Waited for an hour for my main dish . Understaffed (not enough waiters) . Part of my main course was burnt (!!!) When I mentioned it to the Restaurant Manager, I got a "sorry about that" but actually, the right thing to have done would have been a commercial gesture and to offer me a drink! Instead of that, I got a "would you like to add the tip onto your credit card?" . Overall, not impressed at all

The food is not up to the price . Watery green soup , a good Wiener schnitzel with loads of oily potatoes - no veg . Good surroundings . Menu promises a lot more than is delivered . Service not too bad .

Wonderful restaurant, a little pricey for what I would normally got to however no regrets were made in the slightest. It was truely awesome experience to dine in the oldest Restaurant in Europe and the food was delicious.

Ambiente wundervoll, essen war fantastisch, Preise für Weine zu hoch! Organisation für diese Preise nicht gut, Bedienung war aber sehr bemüht. Zu lange Wartezeiten auf das Essen, obwohl das Menü feststand und 1 Monat vorher gebucht wurde... Weihnachten ist ja keine Überraschung, dennoch war alles hektisch. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht in Ordnung.

We were seated quite promptly upon arrival, however, the waiter interrupted after my partner stated her order. He told her not to order the crayfish on the December menu, claiming that it is bad and insisted a few times that she should get the duck instead (which is very unprofessional). We didn’t think much of it at the time, upon arriving back home, her stomach started to feel uncomfortable. We suspect the duck was not fresh as we both recall the duck meat tasting “sour”.

Zentral gelegenes Restaurant mit einem sehr schönen Ambiente und sehr freundlicher Gastgeber und perfekter Service. Silvestermenü war klasse und wir kommen gerne wieder nach Salzburg.
