Hervorragend - sehr tolle Küche & Service! War ein gelungener Abend, wir kommen wieder!

Music and decor do not connect with the history and the actual building. Disappointing. Food was good but nothing came with the entree. Service was very good.

Loved the karma drink, bread and butter and salads. Venison was a game changer - risotto Shrimp unimpressed and no flavor. Service weakened as it got busy and did not appreciate being 5 inches from another table.

Viel Lärm um nichts. Wir werden nicht wieder hingehen. Preise völlig überzogen, Service wenig freundlich und es gibt keine Getränkekarten, so dass man nicht weiß, dass man für die 0,5l Flasche Mineralwasser am Ende 8,20€ zahlt.

Good food, amazing service, great atmosphere, great choices, would go back

The staff provided us with a quiet table as requested to make my birthday dinner special. The salted caramel butter and the bread were tasty as were the appetizer and salad we ordered. Milk-fed veal with herb polenta and a mushroom sauce were beyond expectation as was the duck breast. Nockerl finished off the evening with a flourish. Service was at an appropriate level to cater to our needs without being pesky. It felt unreal to be in a 1,222 year old restaurant. If only the walls could speak! If only we could visit again someday.

The waiter gave us bread but didn't explain to us that it would cost 6 Euro per person. Given that bread is offered widely in Europe for free that was quite a surprise to see an additional 12 Euros added to our bill. I would have preferred to be informed at the time to make a decision.

One of the nicest restaurants I’ve eaten in in a long time. We got 2 typical Austrian specialties and we were not blown away. My wife had the weinersnitzel and I had the boiled steak and there just wasn’t anything remarkable about either one. We started with the small salad which was fantastic as was the apple strudel with vanilla ice cream at the end and the service was also very good. We didn’t have anything to drink and with tip was 155 euros for 2. I’m going to Vienna next and hopefully something there will blow us away.

We were sat in the quietest, most boring corner of the restaurant. Our server forgot to put in our food order and so we waited 2 hours to get our meal, which wasn't what we expected. There was no music in the dining room we were in, so we sat in silence watching the servers clean up in the empty room. Quite a disappointing experience for the price point. I think it was an unfortunate series of events, but it is not one I'd recommend to others. Sorry!

The Ahi Tuna tartar was exceptional, then the meal went down hill. Beef Carpaccio presentation was beautiful, but there were more mushrooms than beef. Where's the beef? Then the nats flew in and landed on our plate rendering those last few bites unedible. The duck and boiled beef were mealy and bland. The spinach was the worst I've ever had. Should have skipped the entrées and asked for the check. The wine list and ambience was fantastic.

Es war wirklich eine sehr beeindruckende Location. Der Service und das Essen waren entsprechend sehr gut.

Empfang und Service waren sehr gut! Die Gerichte haben unsere Erwartungen erfüllt, jedoch nicht übertroffen. Wir haben einen Platz im überdachten offenen Innenhof mit interessantem Ambiente bekommen, wo wir nett gesessen sind, die Temperatur jedoch grenzwertig war.

Sehr gutes Essen mit einem guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Sehr guter und freundlicher Service. Tolle Auswahl an Vor-, Haupt- und Nachspeisen. Lediglich die Auswahl an Weinen war für meinen Geschmack nur gut, nichtt sehr gut.

Perfect at all levels. Very friendly and professional staff. Great ambience and very good quality food. Although we did not avail of them, there were some very special champagnes by the glass available, which perhaps on another visit may be of great interest!

I was really disappointed with the food. I was hoping the wait staff might offer something else as a replacement for the food I didn’t care for. Unfortunately, after explaining my poor experience, the waiter asked if he could apply a 15% tip to the bill for a very regrettable evening. I won’t be returning.

Ein wunderschönes altehrwürdiges Restaurant. Angeblich das älteste in Europa. Aber super fein. Bedienung sehr herzlich und freundlich. Nur bei der Tischdeko sollte man auf gebügelte Servierten nicht verzichten. Eine Servierte ist kein Putzlappen.

We tried the chef’s “surprise menu” and it was incredible! Everything was wonderful from the atmosphere to the service and the food. Highly recommend if you are in Salzburg. It was a dining experience.

St. Peter ist ein Garant für gutes Essen in einem tollen Ambiente. Der Service war auch Top. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne.

Leider war dieser Restaurantbesuch eine herbe Enttäuschung! Mit dem wohl höchsten Preis für ein Wiener Schnitzel waren die Erwartungen groß. Dann kam das Gericht ungewürzt und nur bestehend aus Kartoffeln und Schnitzel - keine Preiselbeeren. Der Service war in Ordnung, die Ausstattung gehipet, jedoch merkte man die Oberflächlichkeit sowohl beim Personal als auch beim Interieur. Keine Empfehlung, leider!

Wir hatten einen sehr netten Abend. Das Essen war hervorragend und die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Zum Geburtstag gab es eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit in Form eines kleinen Kuchens!

Our server, Zoltan, was attentive and provided useful recommendations on wine and menu selections. Both food and wine were excellent.

Das Essen war sehr gut, wenn auch nicht gerade billig. Kleine, aber sehr feine Portionen. Service erstklassig. Leider ist der Ort halt ein touristischer Hotspot auch außerhalb der Festspielzeit, laute Amerikaner z.B., so dass man kaum sein eigenes Wort verstand. Reservierung klappte einwandfrei.

Service und Qualität des Essens OK, Konzept schlecht! Man hat das Gefühl abgefertigt zu werden!

Celebrating my daughter’s 30th birthday and completion of the Mountainman race in Grossarl. Staff were excellent, food very good, atmosphere was mixed. Enjoyed the privacy at each table but the fish decor seemed odd. PS-My favorite part of any meal, and deciding what i will order for dinner depends on the dessert menu of the restaurant; dessert was amazing! Thank you for a beautiful end to a special day!!

Ambiente ist toll. Personal perfekt. Preis/ Leistung stimmt nicht zusammen. Das Essen sieht vielversprechend aus, schmeckt aber nicht so delikat. Nicht spannend gewürzt, keine Überraschungen. Wir würden nicht mehr hingehen.

We were not impressed with two of the course meals and the service was slower than normal

Leider enttäuschend und für das was geboten wird, zu teuer. Gazpacho mit Gin - keine gute Idee. Selbstgemachte Tagliatelle mit beurre blanc - viel zu flüssig. Die Schnitzel na ja. Die Dekoration des Innenhofs im Karibik Style ist leider kitschig und unpassend. Schade.

Alles perfekt das Personal so wie das Essen und das Ambiente natürlich auch
